bird with long tail-->many ornothologists come to sinhgad valley it is heaven for them. It is nice photography spot. you may find different kinds of birds in this area. it is just 25 km from pune. you can go to sinhgad by bus from shivajinagar in pune or from swargate in pune.
By bus / vehicle you can reach there in just 45 min to 1 hour. The trees and bushes are very dense in sinhgad area. besides this in rainy season many small waterfall creates nice enviroment.

Hi, I have been trying to find out the exact place / trail where birds can be seen. We drove till Sinhagarh and found a toll road to go to the fort. Once we took the road to drive uphill, we found very few places where we could stop and walk around.

- After I reach Sinhgarh, which trail do I take?
- Are you aware of any location where I can park our vehicle and then walk / trek around.

dont go to sinhgad toll road. the road to right side of toll is right way after going 1 km from there you will find last bus stop. where there is sinhgad base you can park your bike. Paid and free parking available. even you can start trekking from there and walk around. basically trek path starts from there only. if still have any doubts send me your email address i will reply back with map. This place is called sinhgad valley in rainy season ( after one and half months) you will find lots of birds in that area. see these links
